Judy, Thank you for featuring another one of my images. This Purple Foxglove is one of several species native to the S.E. Alaska Inside Passage Region (taken in Sitka, AK). This region including the Tongass National Forest, is one of the last remaining wilderness areas that is rapidly disappearing. In 25 years it'll be gone as we know it. Please enjoy while we still can.
